Menu Design

In the Menu Design project, the goal was redesign Storm Castle Café’s menu. We had to create two designs that utilize a grid in differing ways. With the first design I kept it simple with two columns and breaking the menu into three sections. Title at the top and times, address, and logo at the bottom. I contained each section with a box to make it easier to see where each end and starts. With the second design I decided to use asymmetric margins and play with orientation. I shifted the title 90° along the left edge, separated from the contents with a line. I put the food in the top 2/3 portion with drinks and add ons at the bottom. I put the slogan of SCC as the divider. The food is split into two columns and the drinks and add ons are split into four columns.
