Metals Project 1

In the project 1 for Metals, the goal was creating a piece based around the theme of ‘ancient’. I have always been fascinated with Anne Boleyn’s ‘B’ necklace and have wanted one for myself. Instead of buying myself one that anyone could have, I decided that was what my project was going to be. By making it myself, I was able to make it unique and personal to me. Instead of having a complete chain of pearls, I spaced them out with sterling silver links. I alternated my pearls with vivid red quartz. This necklace is a self-portrait of myself.
