Album Cover

In the Album Cover design project, the goal was to redesign a band’s album cover art incorporating physical manipulations to digital design. I chose to do the Fleet Foxes’ debut album “Fleet Foxes”. For the physical manipulation I was set from the beginning of doing a collage. I made the entire design as a physical collage then scanned it in and edited the colors in Photoshop. I portrayed a theme of feeling alone but not being alone at the same time. The front cover has a fox sitting by itself, and the back has a jackalope. This makes you question if the fox is truly alone, since there is another creature, but is the creature real?
